National Night Out (NNO) is a national community-building event celebrated by over 33 million Americans across the United States. It promotes community-police partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie by bringing law enforcement officers, community leaders, and residents together for an evening against crime. The City of Madera was ranked 3rd in the State of California by the National Association of Town Watch for its participation in National Night Out 2016, and hopes to rank even higher this year.

Events for 2017 - Madera

National Night Out Connect smallThe City of Madera is celebrating National Night Out by holding TWO events this year! Join the party by connecting neighbors in YOUR neighborhood on August 1st, 2017. Register your neighborhood here. These celebrations will be held across the City! Keep the good vibes rolling, because on August 3rd, 2017, we are inviting all neighborhoods to come down to the Madera Fairgrounds to mingle with other engaged neighborhoods, law enforcement, and first responders at our first ever National Night Out: Connect event. This will be the largest block party ever thrown in the City of Madera. In addition to this being a FREE EVENT, our boys in blue (with the help of supporting agencies) will be doing all the cooking!
